The BST method (Body Skin Tightening), a newly developed procedure for tightening body skin, now expands the range of applications of HYPERPULSE BST with an enormously sought-after and lucrative treatment option. The aim of the treatment is to improve and tighten the skin structure in sagging areas on the body, predominantly the belly and hips.
Mechanism of action:
As a result of BST treatment, there is a stimulation of fibroblast cells to massively form collagen fibres. This leads to processes of tissue regeneration and neocollagenesis, causing the dermis layer to thicken and the skin to tighten.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
During the treatment, a photothermolysis process takes place. The high-energy light emitted is absorbed into target structures within the dermis and converted into heat energy without damaging the upper layer of skin or surrounding tissue. Treatments are performed with a special BST filter that emits light in the wavelength range of 690-1200 nm. The specific and correct combination of energy density (J/cm²) and pulse lengths (ms) is crucial for the effect and safety of the treatment.
