Terms and Conditions

1. General

These general terms and conditions apply to every offer, treatment, and transaction between Rufiya Studio and a client, to which Rufiya Studio has declared these conditions applicable, unless explicitly deviated from in writing by the parties.

2. Efforts of the Beauty Salon

2.1 The employees of Rufiya Studio will perform treatments to the best of their knowledge and ability, in accordance with the requirements of good craftsmanship.

 2.2 The client ensures that all data, reasonably essential for the proper execution of the treatment, are timely communicated to the employee.

   2.3 The employees of Rufiya Studio are not liable for any damages of any kind arising because the client relied on incorrect or incomplete data provided by the client.

 2.4 The employees of Rufiya Studio will inform the client about the financial consequences of changes to the treatment.

3. Appointments

3.1 The client must notify Rufiya Studio of any hindrance for an appointment as soon as possible, but no later than twenty-four hours before the appointment.

 3.2 If the client fails to appear for a scheduled appointment, Rufiya Studio reserves the right to charge the full fee for the scheduled treatment. An invoice will be promptly sent to the client, and payment is expected within 14 days. After this period, if the payment is not received, the case will proceed to incasso.

 3.3 If the client arrives at the salon more than five minutes later than the agreed time, the employee may shorten the treatment to account for the lost time and still charge the full fee to the client.

 3.4 If the client arrives at the salon more than fifteen minutes later than the agreed time, the employee may cancel the entire appointment and still charge the full fee to the client.

 3.5 Rufiya Studio must notify the client of any hindrance for an appointment as soon as possible, but no later than twenty-four hours before the appointment.

 3.6 Both parties are not obligated to adhere to the requirements of Articles 3.1 to 3.6 if they are hindered by force majeure. Force majeure includes what is defined by law and jurisprudence.

4. Personal Data & Privacy

4.1 The client must provide the employee with all data before or during the first treatment, as indicated by the employee to be necessary for the careful execution of the treatments.

 4.2 The employee records the client’s personal data and processes them on a customer card, which is then processed in a customer database.

 4.3 The beauty salon handles the client’s confidential data in accordance with the guidelines in the Personal Data Protection Act.

 4.4 The beauty salon will not sell or rent the client’s data to third parties without the client’s prior written consent.

5. Payment

5.1 Rufiya Studio displays all prices for treatments and products in the salon.

 5.2 The stated prices include 21% VAT.

 5.3 Offers in advertisements are valid for the specified duration and/or while supplies last.

 5.4 The client must pay for the treatment and any products in cash, by card, or by transfer immediately after the treatment.

5.5 All prices displayed on this site are subject to change and errors.

6. Liability

6.1 Rufiya Studio is not liable for any damages of any kind arising because the employee of Rufiya Studio relied on incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client regarding physical conditions, medication use, activities, leisure time.

 6.2 Rufiya Studio is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings that the client has brought to the salon.

7. Complaints

7.1 If the client has a complaint about the treatment or a product, the complaint must be reported to the owner of Rufiya Studio as soon as possible but no later than two weeks after discovery, both verbally and in writing.

7.2 Rufiya Studio must provide the complainant with an adequate response within 5 working days.

   7.3 If a complaint about the treatments is found to be valid, Rufiya Studio will perform the treatment again as agreed unless it has become demonstrably pointless for the client, and the client makes this known in writing.

7.4 If a complaint about the products is found to be valid, Rufiya Studio will partially or fully reimburse the purchase price of the products.

7.5 If Rufiya Studio and the complainant cannot reach an agreement, the complainant can submit the dispute to the legislator or a mediator.

8. Guarantee

8.1 Rufiya Studio provides a one-week (7 days) guarantee for the treatment and products to the client.

8.2 After a treatment, the skin may have a reaction. The client is informed of this during the treatment.

8.3 This guarantee lapses if:

 – The client has been informed by the employee about the result of the treatment and the duration of the effect of the treatment or products.

– The client has used products other than those recommended by the employee.

– The client has not followed the advice for at-home care.

– The client has not sought medical help within five working days as advised.

– The client has not used the products according to the employee’s advice or the instructions for use.

9. Confidentiality

9.1 The employee is obligated to maintain confidentiality regarding all confidential information that the client has disclosed during the treatment.

9.2 Information is considered confidential if it has been disclosed by the client or if it arises from the nature of the information.

9.3 Confidentiality ceases if, based on a legal provision or a judicial decision, the employee is obligated to provide confidential information to third parties.

10. Damage and/or Theft

10.1 Rufiya Studio has the right to demand compensation from the client if the client damages furniture, equipment, or products.

10.2 Rufiya Studio always reports theft to the police.

11. Proper Conduct

11.1 The client must behave in the salon according to generally accepted norms.

11.2 If the client continues to exhibit improper behavior after repeated warnings, the employee of Rufiya Studio has the right to deny the client access to the salon without further explanation

12. Law

12.1 Dutch law applies to every agreement between Rufiya Studio and the client.

12.2 The terms and conditions are published on the website of Rufiya Studio and are also available in the salon.

12.3 In the interpretation of the content and scope of the general terms and conditions, the Dutch text is always decisive.

12.4 The last published version or the version in effect at the time of the agreement always applies.
